Geared for the younger child, this music theater camp, directed by retired Forest Hills Music Teacher, Chester Imhausen, combines age appropriate music activities, choreography, theater and crafts. ALL CAMPERS will become cast members in the Stage Camp Jr. Musical Circus Circus on June 27! The performance is open to everyone so the entire family can enjoy your childs big debut! Registration closes Sunday, June 15.
This more advanced music theater camp, directed by retired Forest Hills Music Teacher, Chester Imhausen, combines music, choreography, and theater. ALL CAMPERS will become cast members in the Stage Camp Live Show, SCool, which is very similar to the popular musical about a high school. Auditions for special speaking and singing parts will be held Mon., July 14 during camp. Audition information will be sent 1 week prior to the start of camp. Auditions are not mandatory. The Stage Camp Performance is July 18 and open to everyone! Registration closes Sunday, July 6.
Gone Fishin Camp with Bass Pro Shops June 13
For children ages 5 & up
Registration closes June 9. Space is limited to 50 campers.
Fish on Lake Como with instructors from Bass Pro Shops! After learning basic techniques for catch and release, safety tips and some secrets to help catch the big one, campers will get the opportunity to fish on Lake Como. There were over 20 fish caught at last years camp! Campers may supply their own fishing rods or Bass Pro Shops will give campers a special price of $15.00 for a rod/reel when purchased in advance with registration. Orders for rods/reels must be placed by June 2.
Sunlite Pools Award Winning Lifeguards will help campers learn about the skills required to do their job. Campers will watch demonstrations, shadow a lifeguard, use the tube, and much more! Parents: children will be entering Sunlite Pool. Campers should have adequate swimming skills. Campers will need to WEAR a swimsuit and bring a towel.
**Camp time: 9:30am-12:30pm
Join Coney Islands Chef Higgins and learn kitchen safety and cooking techniques while preparing a luncheon for you to enjoy! Each camper may invite an adult guest to lunch for an addition $10.00. Lunch will be served at 12:00. (Parents should consider food allergies before registering for this camp.)
Would you like to feed a bird and pet a furry (or not so furry) animal? How about ride a pony? Camp Coney is pleased to welcome Mr. Cowpie and his family of rescued animals to this special camp. Camp Cowpie is an interactive camp in which children will learn how to appreciate, care and protect animals. And yes
there will be pony rides!
Its not easy being green
but it can be fun! Through age appropriate activities, experiments, crafts and games, campers will learn about the things they can do to help save the earths resources. By the end of camp, campers will become a member of the EPA sponsored Planet Protectors Club.
Ooey, Gooey Camp has turned into an end of the year tradition for Camp Coney! If it involves being ooey and gooey, we do it! And CHOCOLATE BASEBALL WILL BE BACK! Dont be left out! This camp fills up quickly, so get your registration in early. Old clothing is a must! Parents: children will get wet and messy. Please be sure your child is comfortable with this type of activity.
