Coney Island Amusement Park

What's New at Coney Island for 2016

To kick off the 2016 season we opened the park with one of our largest water projects ever - Typhoon Tower. We also launched Big Squirt, Premium Cabana Rentals, AquaVaults, Fun Crew, Magic Camp, and Island Shop renovation.

 Typhoon Tower:

Typhoon Tower is a giant, interactive water play structure that features two twisting, 130-foot waterslides and over 70 interactive play stations. This biggest thrill is the 33-foot tall Hydro Storm (largest in the world!) that will soak visitors with more than 1,300 gallons of water. Click around on the icons below to see a sneak peek of Typhoon Tower's features!

Big Squirt!:

This new addition to the pool area will keep your kids entertained for hours. These refillable squirt toys are safe, fun, and interactive for ages 5 & up. Fill stations will be set up around the pool so the fun can continue wherever the kids go!

Premium Sunlite Cabana Rentals:

Check out our cabana rentals the next time you visit the pool area. We have premium cabanas, standard single cabanas, and a standard double. When you rent a premium cabana you will receive 4 Coney Island Souvenir beach towels (to keep!), 6 drink tickets, lounge chairs and armchairs, mini refrigerator in cabana, and electricity. If you're planning to stay for a full day, these are a great option!

Aquavaults:

Keep your valuables secured with our newest addition of Aquavaults! Aquavault is a personal safe that attaches to your lounge chair and is a convenient way to secure your personal belongings when spending the day at Coney Island. Rental fee for an Aquavault is $5 per day. There is also a $25.00 deposit that is refunded back to you at the return of your aquavault. We will still be offering traditional locker rentals as well.

Meltdown:

Test your stamina, agility and reaction time in this new game that’s great for the whole family. Two spinning boom arms try to knock you off your podium. You have to duck underneath or jump over the foam boom to keep from falling. If you’ve watched the TV Show Wipe Out and thought, “Hey – I could do that!”, now is your chance to prove it!

Challenge up to eight friends, family, or other Coney Island guests. Who will be the last one standing? Meltdown will be located near Fun Alley, the games area between Moonlite Gardens and Lake Como.

Magic Camp 2016:

Date: July 25, 26, 28 & 29
Time: 9:30am - 3pm each day
Ages: 8-14
Cost: $200 ($175 for Passholders)
Note: Campers need to pack a lunch
