2023 Tips and Tricks
Before you arrive, please know how to turn OFF your vehicle’s headlights and turn on ONLY your parking/running lights. This will be required at the start of the show
Please tune your vehicle’s car radio to 97.5 FM at the start of the show so you can hear our festive holiday music moving perfectly in sync with our amazing lights. This really enhances your experience!
Download our 2023 activity packet here! The whole family will work together to color, solve puzzles, and play tic tac toe! Be sure to print double-sided and please bring pencils and crayons.

Guests of all ages and mobility levels will be mesmerized by fantastic light tunnels, larger-than-life Christmas trees, glowing snowflakes, dancing candy canes, and more!
Where is Nights of Lights located? Coney Island’s Nights of Lights is located at 6201 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45230. We hope you and yours will come out and enjoy the show together!
When is Nights of Lights open? Coney Island’s Nights of Lights is open EVERY NIGHT from dusk through 10pm, starting November 10th and ending December 31st. We are open rain or shine and on all holidays. If we must close due to snow emergency or severe weather, we’ll communicate via our website, all our social media accounts (Coney Island Park on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter), and on local TV stations.
How much does it cost? Pricing for Nights of Lights is $30 per carload of up to eight people, so gather your friends or family this holiday season and make a night of it! Carload passes are available online at https://bit.ly/3RZhnCL. We also accept cash or card at the gate.
For vehicles carrying 9-15 people: $50 Sundays through Thursdays or $100 on Fridays and Saturdays.
For busloads of 16+ people: $75 Sundays through Thursdays or $150 Fridays and Saturdays.
Do you offer a discount to veterans? Yes! In gratitude to our active military and veterans, Coney Island’s Nights of Lights will provide $5 off carload admission throughout the duration of the 2023 show to veterans and active military. Simply present your valid military ID at the gate.
Can we walk through the light show? No. This is a drive-through experience, so for safety reasons, walking the show is not allowed. Within the comfort of your car, you and yours will stay warm and dry as you experience more than 2 million lights set to holiday music over the 2.5-mile route. We hope you love it!
Can we combine cars once we arrive? No. There is no guest parking available at Coney Island during Nights of Lights. For your safety, please arrive in the vehicle you intend to drive through the show. If you’d like to combine carloads, please safely do so at another location prior to your arrival.
Are restrooms available? Portable restrooms are available in line and at the exit of the show. If visiting the restroom while in line, please note that the vehicle line continues to move. That said, we recommend that you accompany children, take your cell phone with you, and ask your driver to turn on their vehicle’s blinkers.
Does the show have blinking lights? Yes, our show includes instances of strobe-like blinking.
Can we visit in a limo or party bus? For guest safety and experience, we do not allow limousines, 35+ person tour buses, or vehicles over 25 feet in length. The maximum vehicle height is 13 feet, 6 inches, and the maximum length is 25 feet. For vehicles carrying 9-15 people, pricing is $50 Sundays through Thursdays or $100 on Fridays and Saturdays. For busloads of 16+ people, pricing is $75 Sundays through Thursdays or $150 Fridays and Saturdays. We accept cash or card, online or at the gate — your choice!
How can I avoid peak times? Here’s a pro tip: As your schedule allows, you’ll see your best wait times on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Another great option is to arrive between 9 – 10pm ANY evening. Our entry gate from Kellogg Avenue remains open until 10pm every night.
How long is the show? The awe-inspiring light spectacular is 2.5 miles or about 30-40 minutes in length. As our previous guests have testified, it’s well worth the wait!
Do you offer refreshments? Delicious hot cocoa, bottled water, cotton candy, and caramel corn are sold drive-thru style in the queue line on select dates. New this year are holiday light-up bulb necklaces to wear and enjoy during the show and beyond!
Are discounted tickets available? Yes! Discounted tickets are available at all participating Graeter’s locations while supplies last. Bonus: 100% of these tickets benefit The Ruth Lyons’ Children’s Fund, which provides holiday gifts and cheer to hospitalized children.
Do you have anything to keep our kids occupied in line? Kids are invited to enjoy our activity packet while in line for the show. Download the 2023 activity packet here to print out and bring with you to the show! Please bring crayons and pencils.
